Every man is the architect of his own future.
Already from birth we learn about life and about good and bad decisions. In first several years of our life parents lead us the right way and protect us before bad decisions. However, when we are older, we leave parents, home and its safety and then we have to choose our own way and pass through all the doors by ourselves.
On the one hand, we can change and make better all around us, if we have enough will. For example we can choose schools, work, our friend and enemies, places where we want to live and many other things. Then we can imagine our future and try it to come true.
On the other hand, there are too many people around us and they have influence on our decisions. We must submit them in some way. Also we have to face up other problems, such as luck and bad luck, which can change everything in one second and destroy, what was planned. For example there is philosophical position called determinism here, which says that for every event there exist conditions that could cause no other event. That sounds like destiny, thus we cannot change anything.
To sum up, there are many possibilities of decisions here, but we cannot sort them on bad and good ones. Nothing is only good or bad, everything has the dark side, in spite of the best intention. On the other side who believes in destiny has an easier way and must not care about consequences.
